Mezzo-Soprano Cheryse McLeod Lewis enjoys a diverse career in opera, musical theater, commercial, print, and voiceover. Ms. Lewis will make her Spoleto Festival USA debut in 2022 as The Mother in the world premiere opera Omar. Recent highlights include Bess Understudy/Ensemble Swing in the 1st National Broadway Tour of The Gershwins' Porgy & Bess, Annie in Porgy & Bess (Seattle Opera), and Cinderella's Stepmother in Into the Woods (Village Theatre). Ms. Lewis's recent commercial, print, and voiceover credits include national ads for Amazon, Microsoft, Costco, and Zillow. She also runs her own company, Premier Vocal Entertainment, which provides top-tier, professional vocal entertainment for year-round events in the greater Seattle area.
